Hello, My name is Jesse Garcia AKA Jesus The Mongoose Garcia. I have been a boxer since i was 10 yrs old with over 30 yrs in the Boxing industry.

I now want to pass on what i have learn over the many years of my boxing experience on to others. The true art to box and not just an aerobics workout to get in better shape. I was trainer by George Benton in Philly in 1987 for a year. I have over 100 fights and fight in the United States Marine Corps representing the United States.

Our Team in 1981 winning the Texas State Championship.

My boxing name was given to me by my All Marine Boxing Boxing Brother was Mongoose.

They gave me this name because of my speed and I would not stand still, always moving about really fast as I boxed in front of my opponents so I went by Jesus "The Mongoose" Garcia. Before that In 1987 I moved to Philadelphia for a year to be trained by The Legion himself World Boxing Hall of Fame Fighter, Boxer George Benton.

From my boxing experience I am now passing on all that I have learned over the years. The fine art of boxing the Philly style to hit and not get hit. The shoulder rolls along with everything else that comes in to becoming a true champion in and out of the ring.

To install in others that they too can become champions in all that they do.

School, Work, Home and whatever they choose to become with.
Disciple, Hard Work, Dedication and A Winning Attitude

As a kid we would travel every weekend to different cities throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisan, Ohio, Nevada just name it were were there.

We later moved to Houston Texas where I continued to box.

One day I went to visit some family members in South Carolina. As my sister was married to a Marine and he was a drill instructor at the time in Parris Island. As I was staying there for the summer I ran into a local Boxing trainer by the name of Charles Singleton. He had trained under George Benton in Philadelphia for several years. This was in Beaufort S.C I also found out that Joe Frazer was born and raised there himself. Because I had a new coach with Charles Singleton, he was able to introduce me and get me to be trained in Philly under George Benton and his stable of Philly fighters. This was in 1987. I trained in Philly for a year before I moved back to Texas and later join the Marine Corps in 1990. This is when the Gulf War started and I enlisted to serve our great country.

A few years later I decided to try out for the All Marine Boxing team where I boxed alongside some of the toughest Marines there can be. We would travel each week to different areas in the United States and other countries to compete with the finest there were. That was because my new job in the Marine Corps was to box.

When I was in Philly I trained alongside several world champions and top pro fighters. Meldrick Taylor, Rocky Lockridge, Andrew the Prophet as John Davis Jackson. I was in the trenches fighting with these guys. Learning the good and bad in how to improve myself.  When I was in Houston I would often spar with Reggie Johnson who is a 3 time world champion. But at the time he was only an up and coming fighter. Evander Holifield, Tyrell Biggs, Tod Foster, Mike Mccallumand the list goes on and on. No i did not spare against Evander he was a heavy weight and would have killed me. Haaha

In 2016 I was inducted into the All Marine Boxin2 Columng Hall of Fame alongside several great Champions. Leon Spinks, Sergio Reyes, Jesse Perez to name a few great champions.
